It's been quite some time since I last posted and that has mostly been due to the fact that we have been plastering for what seems like an eternity! This house is so huge and every wall has to be done twice (front and back) so it is just taking forever. Plus there was christmas etc in there.However, we are almost done thankfully and the professionals are coming next week to "set" the plaster and to afix the cornices. I LOVE our cornices. They are quite art deco looking and have three steps to them. Very different but super classy.
Here are a few pictures to show what we have been doing. The first is of the doorway into the main bathroom, the second of the downstairs living area (the stairs to the left lead to the entrance and the main structure is the walk in pantry - plus you can see where we will eventually have a built in aquarium on the outer wall of the pantry), the third is of the guest ensuite and the final is of the entrance into the media/games room.
